A. No! The check in desk will check your name against the register. Your membership is already checked by the system. 

A. You need to log into your JoinIn account (do not create a new one with a new email - this won't help the situation!) that has your active membership. If your membership is out of date there will be an outstanding invoice on the dashboard.  

If you are still struggling, email the membership officer, membership@jka-england.org, and they can assist. 

A. In most cases yes - however some of our events have limited spaces available, for those events you MUST pre-purchase online. 

 

Note: If you are buying a ticket with cash at the door please bring exact change and have proof of your current membership (either printed or a photo on your phone - see instructions below). Do not expect the check in desk to have change and they will not have access to the membership database to check your membership. 

Most of our events are "member-only", you need to log into your JoinIn account for the system to recognise that you have a current membership and allow you to check out. 

 

The other common issue, is that you have already purchased a ticket to the event. The system will only allow you to buy one ticket for each person on your account. To check if you already have a ticket, log into your JoinIn account, click "calendar" and tab to the correct month. If any courses you have booked will be listed.

A. Unless the other member's JoinIn account is linked to yours (only recommended for family members due to GDPR) then you will not be able to purchase a ticket for them. They will need to log into their own JoinIn account to purchase the ticket.  

A. We host a few events each year where we welcome non-members, such as our Spring & Winter International Courses. If you see a "Buy a Ticket - Non Members" button, non-members are welcome to attend! 

 

You will be asked to set up a JoinIn profile to purchase your ticket but will not need to purchase a membership to check out.
