National courses are essential training for all students, particularly brown belts preparing to take their shodan grade and black belts looking to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in technique and kata.  
 
Non-members are welcome to attend this course, please ensure you pay in advance.  
 
Kyu grades are very welcome at the course – regular breaks are taken and younger students may leave in the break if they wish. 
 
Grading Information 
Grading is only for JKA England members. 
Payment for examination plus dan registration on the day in cash only. 
Please ensure you pre-register - ask your Chief Instructor or email technical@jka-england.org
If you are grading, you must train at the course. 
To attempt Shodan or Nidan you must have attended at least one other international, national or regional course in the previous year. 
To attempt Sandan you must have attended all 3 days of an international course in the previous year.
