Join us for the upcoming JKA England Open Championships!
Hosted by JKA England, this premier Shotokan Karate event—run under official JKA rules—will take place on 1st November 2025 at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley, England.
The championships will feature a wide range of categories for all age groups and grades, including team events for brown and black belt categories, providing a dynamic competition experience.
We warmly welcome Shotokan clubs and organisations from across England, the UK, and Europe to come together for a day of high-level karate, camaraderie, and tradition.
Tournament Rules & Regulations
JKA England will apply the JKA tournament rules & regulations as published in the document "JKA Tournament Rules & Regulations, from 1 Apr 2025" except where noted in the document "2025 JKAE Open Championships Categories & Rules of Entry". Any additional small changes, to ensure the smooth running of the tournament, will be communicted to competitors & judges on the day of the tournament.

Registration packs are emailed to clubs and organisations in early September 2025. Please email technical@jka-england.org to express your interest in being part of this competition. Deadline for submission is 17 October 2025.
