The 2011 charity appeal for Dreams Come True, a national charity serving the whole of the UK with the mission of bringing joy to children who are terminally or seriously ill by making their treasured dreams come true, was fully supported by members of JKA-England and formed part of the 2011 JKA W/F Europeans tournament hosted in Crawley in April this year.
In total, the association through its network of clubs and the dedication of instructors and members raised an astonishing £10,716.98 (almost £2,000 more than the cheque as we received additional funds after the event which has also been forwarded to the charity). Dreams Come True is incredibly grateful and the funds raised will go towards providing cherished moments and dreams for the children the charity support.
Many thanks for all those who helped in this year’s appeal.
