All katas were broken down and particular emphasis as ever went on turning as well as the key points of each kata. Senior grades were also treated to an intensive kumite session by Sensei Roy, which included a series of attacks that focused on coordination, timing and distance.
Club members had been raising money over the whole month and raised a total of £514.00. According to Sensei Roy, ‘It was fantastic to see so many club members at the event particularly coming a day after the club grading. We’re delighted to contribute to the ‘Dreams Come True’ charity and participate in such a worthwhile cause.’
